      - "UNITY AND DISCIPLINE"

CATC stands for Combined Annual Training Camp is a 10-day camp. Training would be imparted to the cadets in various subjects such as drill, kholna jodna, culturals, map reading, firing, self-defence, Best Cadet and physical fitness. Volley ball and athletics were also conducted. Both the boys (Senior & Junior Division) and girl cadets (Senior & Junior Wing) of various NCC units participated in the camp. Classes are conducted as per the prescribed syllabus wherein certain aspects of NCC training are taught. 

The camp acts as refresher training for the cadets and they are also trained in basic skills of survival during emergencies besides hypothetical topics. Cadets are also introduced to weapons such as a .22 caliber rifle. The first milestone of BIT-NCC is that 25 Junior Division cadets of Bannari Amman Public School attended the CATC camp along with the SD Cadets and they exposed their talents.

Theoretical classes in the camp covered the topics of Drill, Health & Hygiene,History of NCC, Firing, basics of Field & Battle Craft. Practical classes included lessons of Tent pitching, Disaster Management, Drill, Guard of honor etc and primarily focused on Wing specific activities. The camp acted as refresher training for the cadets who were also trained in basic skills of survival and emergencies besides other topics. Cadets were introduced to weapons such as a .22 caliber rifle and attended firing practices on selected days.Cultural and Sports events were also an important and integral part of the camp with relevant prizes and medals for winners.

The main competitions that were conducted included Squad Drill Competition, Tug of War, Debate Competition, Dance and Singing Competitions (Group and Solo), Firing Competition, Tent Pitching Competition etc. Cadets were also assigned the activity called "dogwatch" in the camp wherein two cadets are to stay on “santri” duty for two hours at any time given time of the day.

On the last day of the camp, the Prize Distribution Ceremony for all the activities was held where the winner of the competitions were appreciated and awarded with certificates, medals or trophies.The camp administration at cadet’s level was divided into three categories: Camp level, Company level and College level.
